I don't hear any cues
Check that your earbud is connected and the volume is up: cues play at media volume. In Cue settings, tap Play a sample cue and raise the volume. On AirPods, switch off Conversation Awareness, which turns sound down while you speak.
Cues come too early or too late
In Cue settings, change Pause before a cue. A longer pause leaves room for deliberate pauses; a shorter one helps sooner.
Pressing my earbud does nothing
Earbud presses reach Cuebud on most Bluetooth earbuds and AirPods, but some models handle presses themselves. The Cue me now button on screen always works.
Should I use a script or notes?
Both work. With a full script, Cuebud whispers the next few words. With bullet notes, one point per line, it whispers the next point. Indent a line to add details to the point above.
Cuebud doesn't follow what I say
Check that Cuebud may use the microphone and speech recognition: on iPhone and iPad in Settings, Privacy & Security; on Android in Settings, Apps, Cuebud, Permissions. Make sure the talk's language is the language you speak. Keep the phone on the lectern, in your hand or in a top pocket.
What does the free version include?
Cues for 3 minutes each time you open a talk, plus the summary after every run. Cuebud Pro removes the 3 minute limit for good, with one payment.
I bought Pro but it is locked again
Tap Get Pro, then Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account or Google account you used to buy it.
How do I get a refund?
The store you bought from handles payments and refunds. On iPhone and iPad, request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, follow Google Play's refund steps.
