Followline: Privacy policy
Followline is an app for iPhone, iPad and Android phones made by Everlong s.r.o. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it. In this policy "we" means Everlong s.r.o.

Your scripts
Scripts you type, paste, import or share into Followline and your settings are saved only on your device. We never receive them. Deleting the app deletes them.
On iPhone and iPad: If you back up your iPhone or iPad with iCloud Backup or to a computer, they are part of that backup under Apple's terms.
On Android: If Android backup is on for your Google account, Android may include the app's data in your device backup, which Google keeps for you under your Google account settings.
Microphone and speech recognition
Followline uses the microphone while voice following is running, to know where you are in your script, and while you record a video, for the video's sound. Followline doesn't keep the audio used for voice following and we never receive it. The sound of a video you record is saved in that video on your device.
On iPhone and iPad: The audio for voice following goes to Apple's speech recognition. On devices that can recognise your language offline, this happens entirely on the device. Otherwise the audio may be sent to Apple to be recognised, under Apple's Privacy Policy.
On Android: The audio for voice following goes to your phone's speech recognition service, on most phones Google's speech services. Depending on the phone and the language, the speech is recognised on the phone or sent to Google's servers for recognition. That service works under its provider's privacy policy (for Google, the Google Privacy Policy).
You can switch off microphone access at any time in your device's settings. Timed and manual scrolling work without it.
Camera and recordings
The camera is used only when you turn it on in the prompter. We never receive your videos.
On iPhone and iPad: Videos you record are saved to your Photos library.
On Android: Videos you record are saved to your phone's Movies/Followline folder.
Permissions
On iPhone and iPad: Microphone and speech recognition: for voice following and the sound of your videos. Camera: to record yourself. Photos (add only): to save your videos.
On Android: Microphone: for voice following and the sound of your videos. Camera: to record yourself. Google Play billing: to sell Pro through Google Play. Internet and network state: added by Google Play's billing library, which uses them to send Google technical logs about its own operation, such as whether a billing request worked. The purchase itself goes through the Google Play app on your phone.
Purchases
Followline Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. We never see your card or other payment details.
On iPhone and iPad: Apple sells Pro and processes the payment. We don't receive your name or your Apple Account. The app checks your purchase with Apple on the device. Apple gives us sales reports that don't identify you.
On Android: Pro is sold through Google Play. Google processes the payment. Google Play gives us the order information we need for accounting, tax and refunds, such as the order number, date, country and price. The app asks Google Play on your phone whether you own Pro. How Google handles your purchase is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
If you email us
If you write to us, we use your email address and message only to answer you. We delete them once your question is settled, at the latest after two years. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Children
Followline is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone.
Your rights
Because the app doesn't collect personal data, there is usually nothing about you for us to show, correct or delete. For Google Play order information and for emails you send us, you have the rights the GDPR gives you: access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. We use order information to fulfil the purchase and to meet our accounting and tax duties (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR) and keep it as long as Slovak accounting law requires (10 years). You can complain to the Slovak data protection authority, Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky (dataprotection.gov.sk), or to the authority where you live.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
